My metal finally came in, and the rain held off long enough, so I was finally able to get my metal roof on. Now my work area is out of the weather and I can start on the actual Kiln!!!

He was trained to search out and incorporate local materials into all aspects of the process of making his work. Wood-fired work involves a long, intense process and originated in Korea, Japan and China. Great job with the metal roof! I’m glad you were able to finally get the work done on it. Metal was definitely a good material to go with the roof. It’s light and durable, so I’m sure you didn’t have a problem installing the sheets by yourself.

It’s good to know you have a new roof; how is it now? I hope you’re maintaining it, so that you wouldn’t have recurring problems with your roof. Checking regularly for spots that need repair or replacement would save you a lot of trouble from replacing it entirely. Just make sure you take every precaution properly to avoid accidents. :)
